A SUNDAY TO GATHER TOGETHER
The September long weekend marks the unofficial end of summer—and the beginning of a new season. Before we dive back into the busyness and rhythms of fall, we’re taking this Sunday to recharge, reconnect, and enjoy community together.
We will not be holding our regular Sunday gathering this weekend. Instead, we’re encouraging everyone to take the opportunity to intentionally connect with others from our church family. Invite a few people over for a BBQ, pack a picnic and head to the park, meet for coffee, or enjoy a meal together.
The early church didn’t only gather in large groups—they shared life together around tables, in homes, and in everyday moments. Community isn’t something we experience only on Sunday mornings; it’s something we cultivate as we walk with Jesus and with one another.
So instead of coming to the church building, let’s be the church! Reach out to someone, extend an invitation, and make some time to build relationships. Let’s finish the summer with good food, great conversation, laughter, and meaningful connection—and enter the fall season refreshed and ready for all that God has ahead.
Don’t spend the long weekend alone. Find your people, gather together, and enjoy the gift of community!
